Since 2012, GRGA, Inc. has been a helping hand and net of support for elder caregivers. Whether we provide general needs such as food and supplies, or specialized needs such as services referrals, prom assistance, and special events participation, GRGA has been a reliable source for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren meet their needs.

Our notable events are the Annual Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Appreciation Breakfast, the Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway, Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, and the Christmas Toy Giveaway. 

 

Other events include Health Fairs, the Legal and Education Workshops, as well as the Intergenerational Fashion Show.

Through support and collaboration, GRGA has also been able to provide unique needs such as assistance with glasses, access to laptops for college bounds grandchildren, referral services and assistance for dental and health support, clothing for special needs events such as prom and senior activities. 

​

The grandparents and grandchildren also have had opportunities to attend sporting events, the Youth Fair, and notable City events such as Jazz in the Gardens.

GRGA, Inc. is working to achieve more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make.
